Our Vacation 2010 & UPDATE ON MY MOM

Hi everyone who stopped by, good to see you all! and THANK YOU!

We went on a mini vacation to AC and got to spend one of the days with my son and his girlfriend. It was such a treat as it was his 28th Birthday. We had a wonderful time! The weather was HOT in the 100's and the water was refreshing!! We saw a show as well with m Joe & Tammy. They had payed for their seats, reason they were down, Gary and I got free tickets. They were in the 3rd row center stage, we were up on top side row. We did change our seats when the show started to the middle last row. It was a good show and great seeing my son! I am so truely blessed and I thank God for all this!

UPDATE MOM** Was so glad we got away as I've been at hospital for a almost a week now. I am home today for an eye Dr appointment as I have like a blister on my one eye and it is sore. I think I have an infection.
Mom is doing better, but not out of the woods! The sadist part is the hospital and how horrible it is. Due to lay offs they are short handed , but on top of that they are training these young girls , the girls work for free, it is a summer thing for credits. So it hasn't been fun since mom got moved to a regular room the night before. Yesterday was just a nightmare to put it nicely. They were going to do a procedure to put in a feeding tube ( G-Tube) but the Dr was a total idiot and never even came to the hospital, he just called and was SO RUDE & NASTY! Then his associate said he was doing the procedure today, but we were like wait a minute WHATS GOING ON AND WHY ARE WE NOT TOLD ANYTHING!!!! We had NO nurse till 3pm. Mom was sitting in a chair from 6am till then when I finally spoke up!! She was crying and in so much pain! My poor mom, we all feel so helpless. Dad is trying hard to hold it together but I heard he finally lost it last night, I had already left, as I though we got all the answers we needed, which was procedure will be next week and they put a feeding tube up her nose into stomach. We are all shot! I will be going back tomorrow unless something happens.  I know if it weren't for the few people in my network I've called everyday and for God being there 24/7 in my life, I don't know where I'd be! I have been able to get through all this and know I  will continue to do so! Thank you! I have done a lot of praying and Thanking God for all He has done and continues to do. He is so awesome!!

All in all mom looks good! She is a miracle and I thank you all who have been and are still praying for her. The Dr's & nurses in ICU were AMAZED that when she came off life support she had 100% oxygen and was alert. She isn't ready to leave my dad yet! Their 59th Anniversary is August 25th. They have shown me and my brothers what true love is! The only problem we are facing is she can't swallow due to the Parkinson's, which is why she will be getting the G-Tube and she still has pneumonia. We are not sure how bad the pneumonia is as they haven't taken any X-Rays in 2 days which is why dad finally snapped last night.SO that's where we are at.

Again THANK YOU to all who have been praying and please continue to pray.
God Bless
Peace, Hope, and Love Donna

Ephesians 6:10-17 (The Message)
A Fight to the Finish
10-12And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we'll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.

13-18Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

Deuteronomy 32:4 (New International Version)
4 He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he.

~~~~~~
Psalm 111:2 (New Living Translation)
2 How amazing are the deeds of the Lord!
All who delight in him should ponder them.
~~~~~~
Deuteronomy 10:21 (New King James Version)
21 He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.

~~~~~~
Psalm 28:6 (The Message)
6-7 Blessed be God—
he heard me praying.
He proved he's on my side;
I've thrown my lot in with him.
Now I'm jumping for joy,
and shouting and singing my thanks to him.
~~~~~~
Psalm 119:171 (The Message)
169-176 Let my cry come right into your presence, God;
provide me with the insight that comes only from your Word.
Give my request your personal attention,
rescue me on the terms of your promise.
Let praise cascade off my lips;
after all, you've taught me the truth about life!
And let your promises ring from my tongue;
every order you've given is right.
Put your hand out and steady me
since I've chosen to live by your counsel.
I'm homesick, God, for your salvation;
I love it when you show yourself!
Invigorate my soul so I can praise you well,
use your decrees to put iron in my soul.
And should I wander off like a lost sheep—seek me!
I'll recognize the sound of your voice.
